Bathroom Essentials

July 17, 2016

Lately I have had a little bit of a trouble finding time to do everything I want. Blame it to my newly found running routine that is making it hard for me to concentrate on normal tasks. It is funny how adding something so small in my life as an hour of running, can take up so much of my time. Trying to get back into schedule I decided to organize the bathroom and gather all my morning and night routine essentials in one place, and then move to more rooms in the house. So far it has worked, and having my essentials in one place it really encourages me to actually use them daily as intended. I am so bad at keeping up with a schedule, it is no wonder even adding a new routine to it threw me off course for a few days. For my essentials you will find a combination of Aesop products and Meraki. When it comes to perfume the Santal 33 is my absolute must wear as of late and I have to say, I can’t wait to visit Paris on September so I can try more of LeLabo fragrances.

Bathroom Details : New handcare love

June 28, 2016

Some details from the bathroom. I have wanted to try the White and Black tea Soap and Hand cream lotions from Compagnie De Provence for some time now. While the Aesop Resurrection is my favorite product line, I like having different options, it keeps me from getting too tired of even something that I love. I found the White and Black tea bottles in a local shop, I can’t hide how excited I was to have them in the bathroom! Beyond the quality of the actual product, I really like the design of the bottles and props for them not being plastic for once but instead made of glass.

On a personal note I am off while the sun is still out for a run. I just downloaded an app that will help me start and stay in a running schedule, so I can go back to the physical state I was a couple of years ago, when I would run for an hour and didn’t feel like the world is disappearing from my eyes. The app starts you off slowly, today I only need to run 800m in increments, which I find is a great way to motivate you to start. The first few sessions are for free but I will gladly pay monthly for it if it gets me going and is as good on paper as it looks it can be. I will keep you on the loop, feel free to message me with any questions!

Bathroom Aesop Favorites

May 27, 2016

Some of my current favorites from Aesop, I especially love the Resurrection Duo when it comes to hand soaps and lotions. For eye make up removal the Grape seed oil is great, while on the go I always have with me  Resurrection rinse free hand wash. I am not so much worried for germs, as I am just not a fan of sticky hands and somehow, due to being clumsy, I always seem to spill for example coffee on my hands. If Aesop launches single packaged wipes, then you can expect to find those as well in my bag for the same reason.

If you are wondering about the rest of my accessories, the black cotton buds are are Nomess Copenhagen while I found the clear containers from Muji and Åhlens.

Bathroom Basics

February 12, 2016

I just got back from my trip to Bergen, and while I was very busy I did make some time for some light shopping (who wouldn’t?). Some new containers for the bathroom plus general accessories and some plants were mostly what I ended up buying, most of them not even in my list however there are some things I just couldn’t leave without purchasing.I found black q-tips (perfect for makeup accidents) , if you don’t feel like hiding them these look great in clear cases. I have also wanted to try a new brand called Meraki, they have various toiletry accessories , I went straight for a hand cream and a pumice stone. I really like the look of their products ( second favourite to Aesop ones), although looks alone will not make me re purchase. I will try everything I bought and let you know what I think, the pumice stone specifically since I rarely find one that I like. I got  a few more things from Bergen but I think best to show those in a different post since they are not bathroom related. I also took some beautiful photos of Bergen that I cannot wait to show you, so keep an eye for the next post.
