Le Labo : Santal 33

November 5, 2015

// In collaboration with LeLabo  I was gifted the Santal33 Fragrance. All opinions are my own.

I recently discovered Le Labo fragrances and to put it simply, I am utterly enchanted. My scent of choice is Santal 33 and if there is anything I can say to describe it is that it smells how I feel I should always have been smelling, and there is no exaggeration in saying that I feel naked without it.

Selected botanical and herb ingredients are used in order to hand manufacture each fragrance and Le Labo goes even further in customizing your order as to make it a truly unique experience. Your name is printed directly in the package and the bottle  (along with hand written notes, I leave it for you to discover should you get one), and I honestly feel like this fragrance was designed for me every time I pick it up to use it, from the scent to the design and the care of packaging. Simple and understated, the design of the bottles pay a nod to minimalism, and underline the whole attitude of the brand. Authentic hand crafted perfumes, honest in their delivery and completely captivating as a result. It should come as no surprise that Le Labo stands strongly against animal cruelty and against anything that compromises freedom and creation. While I think Santal 33 will be my favorite perfume ( we are a perfect match ) I am looking forward to trying more from Le Labo, I get the feeling I will be pleasantly surprised. For now my next purchase will include some of their body range for Santal 33 and some candles because I love my home as much as I love me 🙂

Only Deco Loves : Larsson and Jennings

October 19, 2015

// Sponsored content in collaboration with Larsson and Jennings. I was provided with the watch. All opinions are my own.

If you have been following me for a while you must know I love watches. In a world where we rely on our phones and tablets for everything I love wearing a watch and writing down my everyday schedule in my many notebooks. While we don’t necessarily need watches to know what time it is, nobody can deny that a watch has always been a great accessory , one that even when its main purpose is fulfilled by myriad of other devices , its presence is still as necessary as ever at least to me. When it comes to Larsson and Jennings , an Anglo Swedish brand that is synonymous with British aesthetic and Swedish minimalistic design, their Swiss-made luxury watches take design inspiration from their Swedish and British roots combining both for a modern but classic timeless style. The watch I chose to wear this winter as seen above ( LÄDER | MÖRKT ) cannot be more classic with its black grained British leather strap and white brass dials. There are many more straps to choose from and styles so if you are also enchanted with Larsson and Jennings as I am you can check their online store for more combinations. As for me,I have also fallen in love with the grey strap and I am really looking forward to visiting their London store with my L&J on wrist and try it on!

Only Deco Love loves : Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean Electric Toothbrushes Part 2

October 15, 2015

// Sponsored content in collaboration with Philips. I was gifted with 4 toothbrushes for review and photos. All opinions are my own.

Photos and Styling by : Katerina Dima

A few weeks ago I posted about the new Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean electric toothbrushes I received from Philips.  You can read all about them and my review here while today I will not be reviewing the products I will only be presenting them. I was lucky to try all 4 of their colors ( purple is a brand new one!), style and photograph them for a project for Philips and today I can finally show you the result! I chose a different setting than usual, a soft pale nude pink on the wall along with natural wood planks and wooden and brass details that complement perfectly all the colors of the toothbrushes when used together. If you live in the Nordics, Philips is teaming up with SB12 for a powerful toothpaste with strong mint aroma and L’Occitane with a delicate aromatic candle to bring you a complete package of bathroom care.I always light up a candle when I start my morning routine in the bathroom, it provides with a soothing feeling that makes for a perfect start of the day!

I will leave you with a gif I created for fun with a little bit of an illumination play based on the program settings of the toothbrushes, I hope you enjoy it!

Eva Solo Part I : Color Granite Green

October 8, 2015

// Sponsored content in collaboration with Eva Solo.I was provided with the products as shown in the photos for review. All opinions are my own.

Photos and Styling by : Katerina Dima

I am honored to be able to work with Danish brand Eva Solo, styling some of their Automn/Winter 2015 line of products in my own home. Normally I love white and grey tones but Eva Solo unveiled some truly beautiful winter color tones I just love seeing in my home as accents.  The colors, Moonlight Blue and Granite Green complement perfectly every winter dinner or coffee table, while if you look at the store you will also find some of your favorite products in copper as well. I like how the colors are expanded in their whole collection, from bottles to carafes to almost all accessories. I know a lot of people love to color coordinate their kitchen utensils and Eva Solo has now made it easier than ever. While having a singular color theme is great, try color blocking with various products next time, you will be surprised at how beautifully all the colors match together!

Today I used Granite Green products for an afternoon tea table styling for Eva Solo, I love how the earthly tone matches the mood with their new white ceramics line Eva Trio Legio Nova juxtaposed to some of the wooden and cork accent accessories I love to use lately. I will be creating a Moonlight Blue setting as well in Part II so keep an eye for that one in a few days if you are undecided between the two colors!

Links for the products from Eva Solo appearing on my tea table setting today can be found below.
