A few weeks ago ( beginning of December ) , the new Erik Jørgensen EJ 64 arrived at my door, and just in time, I still hadn’t decided on which table to use in front of my sofa. The frame is stainless steel while the top comes in 3 different variants : Black granite or Windsor white granite, Carrara Bianco marble, Black Moon marble or Denver Gray marble. I chose Black moon marble because it looked quite beautiful with the porous surface and the sleek design of the stone against the metal frame.
Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen designed this cool coffee table which clearly reflects its time with its shiny square stainless steel legs and matt marble tabletop.
I have used it for quite a while now and I can really attest to its amazing quality as well. Not only does it look beautiful with its top almost floating on the frame, but it can handle everyday life effortlessly. From styling it minimally, to setting a coffee spread for me or friends, it can handle everything. The surface does not allow for stains with its almost rough yet silky texture, a simple occasional wiping with a damp soft cloth and it looks just as beautiful as the day it was delivered. I have only been using it as table, but its shape allows to also be used as a bench ( not for sitting ) or as a side furniture against the wall, or behind the couch or even in front of the bed. I will be moving it around the apartment , so keep an eye on my instagram for different uses. You can already find everyday snaps on my instagram, catch a different kind of glimpse for it here, here, here and here!
