I just came back to Oslo and I am trying to make myself comfortable, but I am starting to feel the absence of a furnished home already. Due to summer vacations companies have delivery dates even longer than usual and as of now most of everything I have ordered has 6 to 7 weeks delivery time. I dont want to compromise on my coffee table or on the lamps I want, I would rather live in an empty house, which is how I ended up with one of course! I dont even have a bed , another item waiting to be shipped, but at least I have made myself an impromptu bed with a futon on the bedroom floor. I will love having an actual bed, but for now just the luxury of organic cotton sheets help a lot with feeling comfortable. One of the two big windowsills works as a side table above my head for essentials, while everything else I am spreading around me on the floor. Dont feel too bad for me, I am beyond excited to be in Oslo and in my beautiful apartment, and the journey is always worth it 😉
