While spending time at the summer cabin for Easter at my free time I am always looking for inspiration and ideas on small apartments. Thinking ahead about moving to Oslo in summer, it is very exciting but I am fully aware I am moving from a house to an apartment where space is limited. I am already cutting down on what I am going to be bringing with me but even so, I think I will find myself short in space more often than not. When I saw this beautiful grey apartment on Fantastic Frank, it resonated with me so much that I had to share. It is a very small apartment (I am looking for something little bigger regardless) but its styling is exactly what I am envisioning. Notice the clever partition in the middle of the living room? Behind it there is just enough space for a hidden bed, and it is done in a way that the “bedroom” still has ample light, texture, while it is completely hidden from the stylish living room. In a brilliant twist, the built double doors lead nowhere but they give depth in the design of the partition, making it feel more substantial, while it creates just enough space for the bed to hide behind. Swoon!
