Right before Christmas I finally got an item that had been on my wishlist ( as seen on November’s Wishlist) for a while now, the Georg Mirror by Skagerak. There are two colors to chose from, one in black and one where the oak wood can be seen in its natural hue, I decided on the latter. My bedroom has very few furniture by choice (as can be seen here from all angles on the Before and After post) so the Georg mirror blends in perfectly and defines the wall that is resting on. With the addition of a poster on the floor next to it, it is the perfect spot to get ready in the morning, or have a last look before leaving the house. I love spending time in the bedroom after the renovation and I find myself sitting in front of the mirror on a blanket or a pillow a lot more than I would have anticipated. It is such a cosy spot though now, I cannot help myself. Even when we move from this house in a few months, this is a combination that I am going to recreate in the new bedroom. There is something very cozy and warm on sitting on the foot of the bed by a mirror corner. I will try to hang some string lights and take some photos soon, I think it will add to the feel although it might be too much for the look. I guess we will see!
