I have spent the last few days renovating the kitchen and cleaning up the whole house so everything would be in place and organized. Next week I am starting my Norwegian course and I don’t know how many hours it will require of my day along with studying so I had to have my space as calm and clean as possible. As for the kitchen it already looks so much better than before! We decided to paint it white and it has made such a difference. Now I am inching to take it a step further and take down the wall and completely redo the whole room but it will be something that has to wait at least until summer. For now I am really happy with the result and I can’t wait to share it with you.
While on my cleaning and organizing frenzy I added some final touches to my home office as well. I am really happy of how my office space looks right now. It is simple yet it has a calming quality I really like which makes me want to spend more time there and work on my projects. Latest additions are posters, trash basket and paper bags to hold everything in place and out of sight. Nothing is new, I just had them in other places of the house or hidden away in storage until I decided on how I wanted to use them. While at IKEA I stocked up on frames for my posters and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Does’t the Bat Cat look great in her black steel frame?
Off to make myself a cup of coffee and get back to designing!
Have a great weekend everyone!
