While most people believe Scandinavian design is all about white, the reality is that Scandinavian design is about soft minimalism that embraces nature and it’s palette. Therefore it is very common to see colors, even bright booming ones in a Scandinavian home.
Nordic Tales is a company I particularly love and their designs are very close to my style. You might remember it from my post here about their beautiful Bright Sprout lights. They were more than generous to send me two of their soft Weather Plaids in sundown/fall, dawn/winter color combinations in virgin wool. They are very soft and warm, something that is so welcomed now in winter in Norway, but even more importantly for a interior blogger, they look great draped in just about anything including myself. Even right now I have one around my shoulders warming me up while I enjoy a cup of hot chocolate on a snowy day. Winter can’t get better than this.
