One of the things I missed dearly while in Greece was my home office.
It is not just because of its practical value (having all of your things exactly where you want them, your comfy chairs etc) but also because of its design value.
While I am more than happy some times to take my laptop and work from the couch, most of the times I prefer my comfy chair and my home office set up. I work a lot of hours on my computer so I desperately need to feel comfortable. It is very important to me that visually my space is as pleasant as I can make it as is directly translates into feeling better for longer periods of time while I am designing. I want where I work to be a place where I look forward being, not feeling indifferent towards it or worse trying to avoid it.
Trust me if your work space feels like a place you want to be, not only you will look forward to working but most importantly it might not feel as work at all. So get your inspiration going and start even today designing and re imagining where you spend so many hours of your day.
I am constantly drawing inspiration from my pinterest board HOME▲OFFICE and I keep adding daily to it so feel free to follow!
One of the things I have been wanting to do for the longest of time was create my own book art.
I started simple by just folding together all the pages of an old book and cut the exterior. I was surprised at how easy it was, it barely took me half an hour and I love how it looks on my office desk. I am looking forward of using it as a way to store various papers that usually don’t have a specific place on my desk and I hate seeing them just lying around. I won’t provide a tutorial as it’s fairly easy to do it (just fold each page into a triangle and keep repeating) but I can tell you there are some very complicated patters out there for those that want to try some.

Very lovely office <3. I also have my own "book diamond" in the making : ).
Thank you Tiia 🙂 It's my happy nook and I love working while around it, it really makes a huge difference in my mood! I was surprised how easy it was to make a diamond book I am planning on trying more designs quite soon!HugsKaterina
It's so good to know that a simple book art can be done in half an hour -I have thought about doing it, but always thought that it would take too long to complete as I'm constantly out of time and borrowing some from my sleeping hours…
When I started I thought I would be folding for hours but it really only took little less than half actually! I highly recommend starting it you will see for yourself 🙂 Just make yourself a nice chocolate and put some nice music or your favorite series on and go for it ♥
