For the longest of times I have wanted a walk in closet. I have created one for every house I have designed so far and every time I envy the owner. I am lucky enough to have a lot of spare bedrooms in our house and even luckier to have a boyfriend that agrees with one being turned into a walk in closet!
The location is perfect since it is right beside our own bedroom. We are thinking of opening a door so we can have direct access to it but I don’t feel like wasting the wall space. I am currently designing how it will look and this week hopefully we are getting it painted along with our bedroom.
Right now I have moved only a few things in it but I already love how bright the space is, I can’t wait for it to be finished. I have lived like a nomad for the past year, my clothes are all spread in different rooms, my personal things are either half way packed or otherwise stuffed in bags or boxes. As for my toiletries, that’s a whole other painful subject since everytime I want to wear anything more than a lip gloss, I have to go rummaging into the endless depths of my make up bags. I feel like I have been living in an endless hotel stay with all the moving around we have gone through the last year.
Fortunately things are winding down and although we have a long way to go, this starts to feel like home!

Congratulations, walk in closet is a real treasure! 🙂 It's a room that I will definitely plan to our future house. Right now I have something that can be named walk in closet, but it's really tiny and there are no windows, so it's more like a wardrobe where you can go inside rather than walk in closet! But it's better than nothing!Will be waiting to see yours when you have finished!
It's really the empty bedroom that is too tiny to be used as bedroom but it has windows so I'll take it ♥ I m looking forward also to it being finished I feel I live like a nomad, finally all my clothes will find a proper space hahaxxx
