Hello everyone!
It’s been a super busy week! I have so many posts lined up and still haven’t had the time to actually sit and type. To be quite honest photography last week has consumed most of my time. I have been looking on new cameras since my starter DSLR Nikon D40x is getting too old and too small for my needs. Also it is high time I got a tripod. It will give me much more flexibility when taking indoor photos mostly. I keep having to compensate in Photoshop and I don’t like what it does to the interior photos specifically. For now I have to wait but I am hoping soon to upgrade! You will definitely see the difference.
I see myself going for a Canon next however. I have used one in the past for a few hours and I like the results better especially when there is artificial lighting involved. What is my dream camera at this moment? It would be between Canon EOS 5D Mark II or III. The reviews show that both are very comparable and depending on what use you need it for, one is a tad stronger than the other.
In other photo related news I just discovered Imagenomic’s Noiseware Plugin and I have fallen in love with it’s versatility. You can use it for free for 15 days too which makes it even easier to evaluate if you really need it or not. If you lack a good DSLR, lens with low f, tripod and good light conditions then you definitely need this plugin. I could not recommend it enough.

I have to check out the plugin. I'm ready to buy a new camera soon too. My Nikon D60 is getting too old as well but I think I'm staying with the Nikons because I don't want to buy all new lenses. You really think the Canon is better. I was recommended the Nikons for interior use specifically. But I guess they are both good.
I haven't talked to anyone about cameras, it is based on my own experience mostly so I wouldn't want to suggest something that isn't true! I do think both of them are equally great really but for some reason I am leaning towards a canon for the professional option. I am used to Nikon controls but I think I can survive the change hehe Other than that I only have one lens at this point a 16-85mm which was quite expensive yes but the Nikon will still see some use I guess so I feel bad leaving it without any lens at all. No doubt I am still debating it but for now I am staying with the little D40x 🙂 Let me know your impressions if you change! Although if you make a blogpost I will definitely see it ♥
