As many of you that follow me already know I grew up in Greece. I was lucky enough to live in a house with all white marble floors, something that many of my favorite bloggers would kill for especially with the current marble trend. I have to admit I miss it sorely. However Norway calls for mostly wooden floors. I do adore wooden floors and any color can be great depending on your style and the home you live in.
Unfortunately for me even though I would recommend dark wooden floors to everyone, it is just not for me.
For the time being I cannot change mine in the house I live in but I hope in the future I will be able to get white wooden floors.
There are so many things that need to be done before that however, it is almost scary.
House renovations can take a long time especially if you are on a budget!
Things pop up all the time that will delay you even more and distract you from your main goal but until then you can make subtle changes that will make living much more comfortable.
I recently just added this beautiful Playtype poster that brings new life to one of the corners in the living room. Soon I will be adding shelves for a completely different look so stay tuned!
Hope you have a great day!

Oh blush..Thank you Flor! I am happy my little place is coming along nicely finally! It has been a mess for so long poor house ♥*hugs*
Really beautiful, Katerina! Amazing how much a piece of wall art can add to a space 🙂
Thank you dear Anu!Yes it's amazing isn't it? Even a singular piece can go such a long way, it is really an excellent way of adding style to every space without spending too much! xxx
Hi! I've just discovered your blog and I must admit that is represents pure white perfection! Peaceful and cosy.. I've wondered where did you buy your wooden piece of furniture under the tv? I am looking for something similar and here in France it seems like our choice of decorating furniture is less interesting than there in Norway..;-(
Hello Anna!Thank you so much for your kind words! The T V furniture is really a vintage apothecary chest my boyfriend already had it in his house when I moved in so I am not sure where he bought it. It not any specific brand, just really old I guess 🙂 I think if you want something similar your best bet is a flea market or vintage furniture over the internet. There are several stores in UK and US and Germany that carry so many Scandinavian brands I am sure there must be in France as well! If I find any sources I will let you know :)xxx
What a beautiful home and stylish pictures! I would be interested to know where the frame for the posters is from. I love the wooden touch with all the white! Elisabeth
Hi Elisabeth! My boyfriend already had them in the house I think the previous owner might have left them there! I am looking for something similar and haven't found anything either I think I will have to have them custom made ♥
