Today is a very windy kind of day.
I am inclined to stay at home all day and just design our new wardrobe and finally figure out how many shelves I need for it’s renovation.
I am thinking a trip to IKEA will solve a lot of these issues but maybe our hardware store can also provide with a solution at an even friendlier budget. Some of the shelves will also be used behind and around the living room couch serving more or less as a frame. Right now the space seems very empty and although I love a minimal view empty is just not the way to go for a house. Especially for days as windy as today.
So what to you do in between when your living room/bedroom/any space seems too empty?
Flowers and branches go a long way in providing with a cozy atmosphere without being too overbearing.
Just gather some clear vases and add one or two branches in them.
Drape your sofa with one or two sheepskins where your feet usually lay, some extra pillows for comfort and some blankets. A rug would also add a touch of coziness and don’t forget candle holders of any sort will add some style as well.
Have a lovely wintery day!

Lovely!!!
Thank you Linn! ♥ It feels warm and cozy especially with the fire and candles lit! :)*hugs*
I just learned about your blog through dwellinggawker and I am so excited! Your blog is stunning. So many inspirations. For the space that feels empty, I like to use wall decal to decorate the wall and put a chair and a small table.
Aww you are so lovely thank you! I am humbled and excited by your kind words! I love your suggestion I always do something similar as well for corners! There are some amazing wall decals out there and so many companies that will make one from your own designs which is even better if you are into such things! :)*hugs*
Hi, I love your blog and just stumbled upon it! Can I ask you what coffee table that white one is in your images above?:)
Hello Brittany :)It's the Ray coffee table from Department. Other than Scandinavian countries I am not sure where you can find it though. I got mine from http://www.room21.no !Hope this helps :)xxx
Thank you!! Yes it is so hard to find great pieces like that, that are accessible to all of us around the world. Thanks for the tip, I'll check out that site!
There are various stores that have Scandinavian merchandise but I think some will be harder than others if not impossible you are right! I can relate as I grew up in Greece, so many things that would not be possible to get however look at IKEA's spring line available on April, you will be surprised at the new designs (for alternatives) and probably love them 🙂
