Office Reveal

December 13, 2013

I have been waiting for a bright day in order to take photos of the finished office nook but it seems that the winter is going strong and if I keep waiting I will make this post during summer.

Not that I am complaining, I love winter and snow here in Norway but I do wish our house wasn’t situated directly under the shadow of the fjord in a way that light is very elusive indeed indoors.

Combined with the absence of a tripod taking photos in such conditions is truly a labor of love.

I am making a mental note of buying one very soon however.

Little rant aside, I’m so happy to be able to finally show you how our space looks like at least in form.

I still need to micromanage the wall and the gallery I want to make and find a better way of hanging those E27 Muuto Pendant lamps.Right now they are just hanging from the ceiling looking a little sad.

I am thinking a black pipe bar to wrap them around will work wonderfully.

And some posters for the wall for inspiration, maybe a few boxes.

All this is such a work in progress I love it and hate it at the same time.

Usually the desk is not as clean but I had to make room for the amazing POV candle-holders that just came as a gift from winning a competition from Menu!

I got 4 POV for my walls in black and grey and 2 for the table one grey and one in terracotta color.

I have fallen in love with the terracotta one. Aside from its beautiful design the color is stunning.

I can see it in so many places , on the office, on the table, on the tv cabinet, on my nightstand..The list can go on forever. There are some shelves that are also begging for some POV action.

If you haven’t put it yet on your Christmas list you should really think about doing so.

It makes for an excellent present for yourself as for anyone else that appreciates design.
