While I could not attend Salone del Mobile in Milan this year ( sadly missing all the cool parties as well), I have been keeping a close eye on the news. An early favorite is the new Lune modular sofa by Jaime Hayon for the Republic of Fritz Hansen. Jaime Hayon's take on an aesthetic and welcoming modular sofa that doesn't look like a modular sofa at all. Whether a 2 seater, a 3 seater or a 10 seater, the result is a timeless and sculptural design that meets functionality under the carefully curated Jamie Hayon's artistic style. I have been thinking what couch I could get for my apartment when I move to Oslo and I have to say Lune just went on the top of my list.
Another favorite of mine from the Fritz Hansen collection the Fri Lounge chair by Jamie Hayon just got released in new colors as well, Dark grey, Beige and Iris Blue, the perfect complement piece for the new Lune Sofa. I particularly like the moody blue color with the matching legs, its curvy approach of design matches so well with my design philosophy as of late.
