Sick day : Thai Sauce recipe to the rescue

I haven't gotten sick for a few years now but I finally succumbed to this flu that is taking down my neighbors one by one. My head hurts and it seems all the tissues of our town are not enough to keep my running nose satisfied. I had forgotten how annoying it is to be sick and in house arrest.  I was really hoping I would go skiing this week and take photos this time as well. If I am fever-less nothing can stop me. Well maybe a big snowstorm. Thankfully I have fresh baked bagels and my comfy couch. We usually watch The Holiday during Christmas but this movie makes me feel warm and happy. Perfect for a sick day don't you think?

Last but not least, I want to share with you my Thai sauce recipe for a perfect bagel sandwich. The chilly and lemongrass are really amazing especially when you feel under the weather. They give you a small energy boost that makes quite the difference!

Thai Sauce 

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons Fish Sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 to 1 tablespoon minced red chile

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Toss all ingredients in small saucepan and cook on low heat until the sugar devolves. Cool completely before use. Store in fridge.

    I have been sick the last days too but was not able to write anything down even had no chance to Plan something for the Blog or something else...
    so.. You're really crazy ;)

    1. I spend my time alternating sleeping and barely being awake but when awake I felt I had to get off the bed/couch in order to move my body a little bit :) After 5 days I finally feel better although I still consume as many tissues as my super market can provide hehe
