Tips and Tricks on how to Decorate your Surfaces!

Monday, May 12, 2014

I am really happy the living room is taking the shape and form I want.
I don't think it will ever be as I want it to be since the shape and the materials are very difficult to work around but it is definitely looking much better than when I first moved in.

A really important factor is how I organize my interior decorations, scroll down for some tips and tricks on how to do it yourself!

Posters and little decorative details will help a lot when you are trying to make your space more cozy and stylish. A rug or sheepskin if you are in a colder country will all provide with a nice space to sit down and relax while decorating your floors.

When decorating your table tops or any other surface usually pairing by three will create the most pleasing result. For my Ferm Living table top lid I chose to combine a golden vase that would complement the lid's tone, a candlestick and a marble bowl to provide with a little bit of contrast but match each other and a Menu candleholder in orange that brings the whole composition together.

It is very easy to combine your decorations together and bind them in an aesthetically pleasing way, just start experimenting today! You will be a master in no time if you give it a few tries with what you have at home today and if you are looking for some inspiration visit my Pinterest board HOME▲DETAILS for hundredths of photos with exactly the same theme! That's where I draw my inspiration and get better at organizing my interior ideas everyday!
