Uashmama Bag Review

Monday, April 28, 2014

April is almost over and for the first time I am happy that I got to buy some of the things that were on my April wishlist! This almost never happens, I feel like making my chocolate filled sweet buns to celebrate!
If you want to know my thoughts on the Uashmama washable paper bags do read on

I love the Uashmama washable paper bags!
They look like they are made out of leather although they are made out of paper, they are washable as fabric and they retain their shape! You can roll them out or keep them somewhat folded, either way they look amazing. You can store so many things in them and since everything washes off easily you don't really need to think of protecting the bag from spills. Using it especially in the kitchen is wonderful since you can have your greens in them without being afraid of the water dripping inside the bag or splashing from outside. I love a good design that allows both style and utility to mesh together so wonderfully. I tried to "ruin" one of them in several ways just to check how durable they are and I am happy to report the bag looked as new! If anything it got a more rustic worn feel that I personally love but if you don't wish your bag to look somewhat used then just don't try to purposefully destroy it. If you wash it with a soft cloth it will continue to look as new for a long long time. My only regret is not getting even more in more colors and sizes.

Is it just me, or the plant just looks amazing sitting gingerly in the bag? :)

  1. These bag is super nice! After reading your review I feel like I just have to get one! I found it in Hviit.no online shop and fortunately they ship also to Estonia, but unfortunately the shipment cost is almost the price of two of those bags :( I have to try if it would be more reasonable to add more items or the shipping cost will rise proportionally...

    1. There is an Australian shop and an italian as well! But maybe you should look for a shop that might carry the brand in Estonia? I would e-mail the company and ask them if they have any official retailers where you live! The bags are really great well worth looking into it at least :)

  2. E-mail the company is a good idea, although I'm afraid these are not available here in Estonia. I don't know why I tend to add those things to my wish list that are not available here! :)

    1. Well the only difference is you might change the paper bag more often other than that the look is very much the same! I love it :)
